There has been a lot of buzz surrounding in India about the launch of ‘Reliance Jio’, the fastest 4G network in the world. Moreover, people just can’t resist some attractive offers that comes along with it such as free Net data unlimited usage for 4 months, free voice calling, lowest data rates and much more. People are flocking to the stores to secure one JIO SIM card for themselves.

This has obviously left other network providers like BSNL, Vodafone and Airtel quite insecure. If they want to sustain in the market, they will have to take some steps and offer something attractive, isn’t it?

Now, to compete with Reliance, BSNL has come up with an amazing data plan too. Now, while Reliance is offering a super-low rate of Rs 50 per 1 GB of data, BSNL is offering it for just Rs. 1/-.

Yes, it plans to launch the ‘BB 249’ plan from the 9th of September, in which users would be entitled to 300 GB of data per month. Anupam Srivastava, the Chairman and Managing Director of BSNL stated that this plan would mainly aim at Broadband users, who keep needing loads of GBs and that too at affordable rates!

Free unlimited calls!

Moreover, every Sunday, BSNL customers can make free unlimited calls, isn’t that amazing? Calls can be made to any landline and mobile network, thereby making the scheme all the more attractive. This scheme is put to effect since the 15th of August.

Manoj Sinha, the Telecom Minister stated “BSNL…customers will be able to make unlimited free voice calling from a BSNL landline to any network mobile and landline in the country on August 15, and thereafter every Sunday,”Currently, the company is offering free unlimited night calling i.e. between 9pm to 7am and customers are enjoying it a lot. So what do you think about this amazing plan..?
